This was a type of a comic book that was 205 pages long. It tells the story of Hamlet who loses his father and 1 month later his mother marries his uncle. Hamlet's friend Horatio tells him about the ghost they find. The guards think its his father. So one cold night Hamlet comes with the guards and see the ghost. It tells him it was murdered. This book by Laurence Yep is 317 pages long. It tells a story of a father and son. Moonshadow (the son) travels to America to live with his father Windrider. When Moonshadow finds out about his fathers dream he will do anything to make it come true. After all their dedication they earn their Dragon Wings.

The Lion The Witch and the wardrobe

This 189 page book by C.S. Lewis is filled with Adventure. When Lucy finds the wardrobe she doesn't tell anyone for a while so that it can be hers. So she tells Edmund to come with her. It is so cool when Aslan comes to defeat the Queen he beats her through a long hard fight. Aslan uses everyone because no one likes the Queen she is mean and terrible to the people. She hates Aslan because he can beat her so she almost kills him. If you liked Magicians Nephew this one rocks as well.

The Pigman

This 158 paged book by Paul Zindel is so sad and touching. When John the pretty boy and Lorraine the thoughtful girl create a game where you have to pick a number from the phone book and stay on the line for a long time. When they call the Pigman they talk for about 2 hours! The next day the end up going to the zoo with him and then to his house. He has a collection of pig things. Thats why his name is The Pigman. He tells them about his wife who is dead, but he just thinks she's in California. John and Lorraine don't know what to do when the find out. So read the book. I know you'll love it!

Boston Bombing

Yesterday was a sad sad day for many people. On April 15, 2013 a marathon was in place when a bomb blew up near the finish line. "2 people killed and 105 hurt," said the reporter from a ABC 30 Action News. One of the people and was killed was an 8 year old boy who was waiting for his father to finish the race. His sister's limb was blown off and his mother in critical condition. The other person that died that day was a young man waiting for his girlfriend to finish. He had plans to propose to her when she finish the 26.2 marathon, sadly he never got the chance to marry her because when the bomb blew up he died. It was a terrible and tragic day for those families and many more as well. I would just like to say RIP my heart is with you guys.

My Year In Room 14

I have had a nice year. Well... to be honest it's been really hard for me in 6th grade. I mean not just school work. Well that too but I didn't feel like I belonged in a group. So ya life is hard but I manage with the help of my REAL friends. They are the best. Joy... Elisabeth... they help me get through the tough times because they are always there. Overall, I have had a fun time in school but socially i have had a bad, bad year full of sadness. Fun in room 14 though.

Middle school: Get Me Out of Here

This is a great 281 page long book by James Patterson. This book is about Rafe K. who ends up running away with his invisible friend. This friend is not just a friend he's Rafe's twin brother who passed away at birth. When Rafe moves to the city he tries to find out about his father. When he finds his uncle he asks where his father is and finds out he fought in the war and was killed. Rafe runs away and goes to his friend Jeane's house. His mother finds him and takes him back home.
